jessebritoParticipantHello,
This is a bit of a complicated matter involving X Theme, Cornerstone, and Essential Grid, so any help will be appreciated.
I’m working on my client’s website (which you can see here) and trying to implement Essential Grid as a responsive background which shifts with the window.
The EG background is a Div section made inside Cornerstone, with a Z-index of 0 while the other content/Div sections have Z-indices of 10. To prevent extra tiles and rows runoffs, I applied overflow: hidden to the EG background section but as you can see on the website it’s not working.
Is there a way to hide the EG background runoffs, or is this outside the scope of Themeco support? This is the first time I tried to use EG as a background, and haven’t seen such a case before.
Thanks!

Nabeel AModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in! Can you please explain it with some screenshots so we can have better understanding of the issue?

jessebritoParticipantThanks for your response!
If it helps to illustrate what I’m trying to achieve, here is a testpage on the website where you can see a successful example.

Notice here on the testpage, the grid background does not overflow over the footer, but is hidden.
The grid background here overflow over the footer, and when resized can completely covers the footer.
Here is the Cornerstone layout setup for the homepage.Once again thanks for your help with this.

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for clarifying. What you are trying to achieve is a bit unusual. The grids on Essential Grid are dynamic in size and uses absolute positioning. So it’s kinda tough to use this as background and you know it’s not usual at all since it should be used as standalone element. I wish I could help but it would be out of our scope and complex at the same time.
Thanks for understanding.
