I’m having two issues with Essential Grid:

    1) On my website currently located at promo-fuse.com/main, I have used an Essential Grid on my homepage to link to several services on other pages. I made it a custom one where I can assign the images and order of the grid images. However, today I built a new one to use on the page and whenever I rearrange the order on the Grid’s settings page and save it, I go to check the webpage (refreshed) and it defaulted back to another order. If I reload the Grid’s settings page, it has also reset back to the original order as well, so I can’t get the new order I’m setting to stick.

    2) This may not have as much to do with Essential Grid as it does with linking to anchors in general. I used Essential to link to an anchor on a page (promo-fuse.com/main/print). When I click on the link on my home page (say, “Custom Apparel”), it goes to the correct page and scrolls down to the section I want it to for a fraction of a second, then scrolls even further.

I need this fixed asap, as customers are currently going to our old website that has a loading error on it and we need to get them directed to this new site, but need this issue fixed first. Thanks!

    Hello There,

    Thanks for writing in!

1] Did you use the same skin for both of your grid? I would recommend that you should have a different skin for each grid. You can make a duplicate of the skin before using it. Please keep in mind that how the grid will be displayed relies on the skin. If you are using the same skin, both of your grids will have the same setting and displayed the same. So it is important to have a different skin instead.

2] I have visited the page and I could not replicate this issue. Do you have any caching plugin which may have cause it? Please try to clear your plugin cache first before testing your site. You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

    Hope this helps.
