jeanmichelcoteParticipantWordpress and x-theme latest versions.
My client’s website: http://www.depalmaproductions.com/
Scroll down the home page to the bottom and try the essential grid widget on the left.
When done, click “see more…”, that will lead you to a full page essential grid where we find the same problem:First, when you hover an image, you have to click on the view icon 2 times to make the lightbox screen work.
Second, the lightbox screen doesn’t show both the dismiss(x) button on the top right corner nor the navigation arrows, even though they are set to be shown. Also, the css styles are not what they are supposed to be, according to what I have set in the admin panel. On smaller screen sizes, the lightbox appears to big, so the overflow is hidden off screen, cropping parts of the image as if it didn’t considered the window size.
But the weirdest thing is this:
I open 2 tabs in chrome, one with my site’s home page, the other one with the admin panel. In the admin panel, I go to essential grid and select mygrid. Then, I just save mygrid with the green sticky slider on the right.
Now I go to the other tab where I am on the home page and refresh it one time. Essential grid works just fine. As it is supposed to. I refresh it a second time. Now its back to weird behaviour.
I need help with this please.
Attached is mygrid exported as .json

RadModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in.
There is one javascript related to EG twitter, though, I’m not sure if it’s the one that causing the layout issue. Would you mind providing your site’s URL, admin and FTP login credentials in private reply?
Thanks!

RadModeratorHi there,
They aren’t toggled off, I still can see them from the source code and error. I like to do it myself but your login credential is wrong, it says ERROR: Invalid username.
Thanks!

RupokMemberHi there,
It would be better if you provide both WordPress and FTP credentials.
Cheers!

RadModeratorHi there,
How did you add the social sharing on the lightbox? I can’t even find it from the skins. Those social icons are triggering javascript error that prevents the lightbox from functioning properly.
Thanks!

jeanmichelcoteParticipantYou can find the social icons toggles in EG/lightbox.
And I just turned them off, with no results; nothing changed and I still have the same problem I had with the lightbox. Is there a way to fix the issue with the conflicting javascripts? My client is asking for those social links.
Thanks.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
The given password for the WP dashboard is not working for us. Please double check it. For the meantime, I’d recommend that you clear your caching plugin, and disable it during development. This can cause Customizer changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately. Caching plugins are best to turn on only when you’ve finished building the site.
Thank you.
