    Hi. Is there a way to simply have a link in EG without any type of skin or overlay? I think I am 1/2 way there – when you hover over the grid items it takes you to your specific link, however, there is still a white skin that appears from the bottom of each grid item.

    Hello There,

    Please add the following CSS on Appearance > Customize > Custom > Edit Global CSS to remove the hover background:

    .eg-item-skin-by-x-support-container {
    background-color: transparent !important;
}
