RyshardParticipantHi,
I followed the instructions for creating an API key and pasting in my Youtube channel ID but I just keeo getting an Ajax error. I have no idea what this means and hoping that someone might be generous enough to help.
Cheers

John EzraMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing in! Since this is an error that has to do with YouTube and essential grid, we may not be the best source for answers as our support is for integration concerns, though we often try to go beyond our scope of support where possible.
The steps we can provide will pertain to checking for conflicts and testing if the issue is somehow connected to the theme.
You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
If this doesn’t identify the issue, you could also switch to a default theme and see if it works there. If it does then we’ll need to check further what is causing a conflict with X. If it doesn’t then we know for sure the issue isn’t theme related.
Please go ahead and test the above. Let us know how that goes. Hope this helps – thanks!

RyshardParticipantHi,
I found the problem…
ThemePunch’s tutorial https://www.themepunch.com/essgrid-doc/special-content-streams/ misses out a very important part of creating the API, which is to enable the Youtube Data API and Youtube Analytics API before creating the credentials.
Thanks you.
