I m using Ess Grid to create a box layout home page and would like each grid to be a sport (already done).
For each grid READ MORE to link to the page sports and GALLERY to link to the sport specific gallery page.

For read more i found out how post or link url enter for each pictures but can t find a place to enter another url.

I have created new meta eg-2ndurl

Have entered it in property of grid pics but does not work, both icons down link to the same page.

In My home page test (private). I have 3 grid for each grid i would like 2 url link, one to the page sports and one to the gallery from the sport.

So far only the read more is working, i can t make the gallery one working even after following steps send above.

Hello There,

The gallery link do not work and will not work if you do not add a custom meta. You need to edit each of your pages or posts and then add the custom meta. So I decided to edit one of the pages and I added one.

And please keep in mind that after doing any changes, you need to clear the site cache. I’d recommend that you clear your caching plugin, and disable it during development. This can cause Customizer changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately. Caching plugins are best to turn on only when you’ve finished building the site.

I m confused now.

Please find attached home page test, i m talking about READ MORE which link is working to wakeboard page and GALLERY which link send to the same wakeboard page instead of gallery/wakeboard uae.

I m missing something for sure, second screen shot is Ess grid/item skin editor i guess the problem is there?

For the first one (picture wakebaording with water drop) i have add custom meta that i called 2ndurl and insert gallery url, but does not work.

Sorry not easy to explain my issue.

Hello There,

I’ve been tinkering around. I have tried everything and still no progress. Could we please deactivate the caching plugin first and maybe we can create another test by having another grid skin. I guess starting from scratch could check what have we missed.

Please let us know what are your thoughts.

Feel free to do what ever you want, for sure I don t have your experience. And anyway i am stuck, i m just trying to create a much more simple home page, not too sure this is the best way to do it.
