Laurie HParticipantHi guys,
http://allen-international.com/creative-work/
On the Work page on my live site, if you click on Clients accordion dropdown, the list of clients is getting very long. When you click on each Client name, the specific grid item is displayed on the page, at the top of the page. If you scroll down & click for example Virgin Media, then although the grid item does display on the page, it’s too far up to be seen without scrolling back up. This is confusing for users who think there are no results to display. So, in my Clients list Filter I would like to link each client (set as a category for each client) straight to their single post page. Instead of loading the grid item first, then having to click again to go to the post page.
I have looked through the forum & ES grid docs but I cannot find how to achieve this. Can you help please?
Any advice will be much appreciated 🙂July 7, 2016 at 11:30 am #1076665
ChristianModeratorHey Laurie,
Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by the ES Grid. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities. Thanks for understanding. Take care!

Laurie HParticipantHi Christian,
Thanks for looking anyway. We have already made many custom changes to X theme, using a child theme, custom functions etc. I was just trying to get advice on the best approach to achieve the changes we need to do to the ES grid filter.
Sorry, just thought someone at the great X theme may just point us in the right direction. No worries.July 7, 2016 at 8:59 pm #1077359
Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thank you for your understanding.
Just an addition, you can try to check out the documentation. You might find what you want to customize with Category filtering; https://www.themepunch.com/essgrid-doc/essential-grid-documentation/
