    Hi,

I’ve built an Icon site that works fine at it’s true domain when I point the site address there (johnharpermedia.com/rayconti).

When I changed the site address (rayconti.com) the links to pages off the home screen are no longer working and the menu and social icons have disappeared.

The actual URL (johnharpermedia.com/rayconti) also looks really odd after this change, not the way it should.

Can you help me get this corrected? Thank you.

    Hi There,

If that is the case then change back the site address to johnharpermedia.com/rayconti and 301 redirect the rayconti.com to johnharpermedia.com/rayconti

    Hope it helps, Cheers!

    Hi,

I viewed your video. It was forwarded with masking because I followed the instructions from Friech at Themeco in this thread. I said at the time it was the incorrect fix. I am glad we agree.

I have removed the forwarding. Now we are back where I asked my first question 2 days ago.

I have changed the site address in the Dashboard back to rayconti.com, but you have the login if you want to change it.

The site is now set up the way you suggested and it is not working properly. So far the answers in this thread have not been helpful. Please assist. Thank you.

    Hi there,

Changing URL isn’t enough because internal URLs still point to http://johnharpermedia.com. You can confirm that by viewing the source codes. If you like you can try All in one migration plugin to migrate your entire site, it will handle all internal URL correctly.

Or, you can install Better Search Replace plugin and replace the string johnharpermedia.com/rayconti/ by johnharpermedia.com. You have to check all tables and GUID.

    Cheers!
