RahulModeratorHey Rob,
Can you please revalidate your website by revoking the licence from your WordPress dashboard and your themeco dashboard and adding them again?
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks

webforageParticipantI revoked the license and revalidated, but when I try to update I receive the same message. The other issue is even though I created all me pages with ConerStone it is no longer and option for editing these pages so now I’m left with lines and lines of CS shortcodes that I’m sure my customer will not be able to muddle through.

webforageParticipantSure. I did update X Theme last night successfully, but I had to do it manually. There is still the issue of the plugins and extension not updating and the missing CornerStone editing.

JoaoModeratorHi There,
I was able to update your plugins by turning off Wordfence what was probably your issue from the beginning.
You are also running iTheme security as well so always when doing updates we reccomend turning off these plugins to avoid conflict.
Regarding your pages not opening in Cornerstone have you made any changes on these pages out of Cornerstone?
Did that start to happen after you performed a manual updates? If Yes, Can you describe us your manual update process with details?
Let us know more details,
Thanks,
Joao

webforageParticipantHello Joao,
Thanks for the quick fix and the info. The problem with CornerStone seemed to occur before I did the manual update, but after I tried the auto update and it timed out on several occasions. We never edit in anything other than CornerStone so I don’t think that caused it plus every page had the same issue at the same time. Is there a switch in the DB somewhere that keeps track of the editor used? Could we just switch it back?

webforageParticipantThanks for the tip. I had ran this unsuccessfully before I contacted support. I tried it again just incase the updates triggered something. Nothing changed though. I found one page out of all of them “Testimonials” which I can still edit with cornerstone. I actually had this page open in a browser tab when I tried the updates and maybe the only reason it was spared.

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing back. I can see “Testimonials” page is still a Cornerstone page (not corrupted) and I can edit this fine with Cornerstone – http://prntscr.com/bgbu0l
Would you try again clearing your cache and let us know what you exactly facing?
Cheers!

webforageParticipantThe cache has been cleared

JadeModeratorHi there,
Please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Let us know how it goes.

webforageParticipantI have to check tonight since the site is active. I’ll let you know. Should I deactivate the plugins that came with X or leave them?
June 15, 2016 at 12:44 pm #1043643
webforageParticipantOkay I went in and disabled everything, cleared transients and cache. Nothing seems to want to bring back cornerstone editing. Although when I deactivated the CornerStone plugin all the page went to crap. Not sure. How does X know which editor was used? Is there a switch in the DB somewhere in the post / page metadata that signals the editor?
