Hello!
First I’d like to say thanks for the work put into this theme. It obviously wasn’t easy (though you make it look like it), and I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season. I’ve been sending clients your way for hosting and theme purchases, just thought you should know.
My concern with The WP forms plugin is the disparity in update times between loopus’ codecanyon page and themeco updating the plugin. I went to the developer first since it’s their plugin, and they said this:
“Hello,
Thank you for your message !
Alas, I don’t know at all the frequency of the updates of the plugin as X theme extension, it is directly managed by Themeco.
Yes, buying a license directly from me, you have access to automatic updates (very frequent), the Form Designer extension and the support directly from me.”I’m not too concerned with the support, but I would like the updates.
So naturally I was wondering what the update frequency we can expect for E&P would be. Would we receive them on a monthly, bi-monthly, annual or bi-annual basis, or on some other basis? I read your policy on the matter with other plugins, but I just wanted to know what constitutes “significant feature improvements, additions and bug-fixes,” to paraphrase, in the specific context of this plugin.
He seems to churn out updates very, very often, so I was wondering if there’s some way to bypass you manually updating it altogether and just getting the direct automatic updates. I know that’d take some technical finagling with authentication, but from there it seems like it would be smooth, relatively.
I don’t mean to be pushy or anything, I just wanted to share my thoughts, because whoever made the decision to go with the plugin made a great choice, I just want my copy of X to provide me (and my clients) with the best the extension bundle has to offer, since I put my business on the line with it. You haven’t let me down yet, I know this time will be no different.
