Addons in the admin panel works differently in a new version of X. I have others with a demo site set as primary license now. I need to know how to change those successfully. Also, does the API key even play any role now?
I realize it would be different if I could update/partially update this Version; but I can’t. I would be able to use an Envito license key if I could get to that point in the update process, I can’t.

Disabling Maintenance mode…All updates have been completed.
Note, I didn’t add to this thread because it slows things down, but that’s out the window. BTW, I have 9 X Theme licenses, 8 in this account and 1 in another. Answer this question, you answer both. I have the same issue.
My customizations are in chid themes on everything (bustersvision.org , butersvisonedu.org , bustersrsvisionregistry.org.). Can I just FTP the new X update up, and change X? Will I break my customizations…I have pages of custom CSS Please help!!
Hey There,
I tried logging in with the credentials you’ve provided but that did not work. Can you please provide working credentials so I can resolve this for you. Additional ftp credentials will also be helpful. If you only overwrite the parent theme via ftp then your changes won’t be lost since you’ve did all the changes to the child theme and the child theme stays untouched.
I was able to add the URL to the license in Themeco “manage licenses” useing Chrome instead of Safari.
However, I still have the update issue:

Using Chrome or Firefox, please do the following:
1] Please go to X Addons > Home and revoke the validation (https://s3.amazonaws.com/community-themeco/app/uploads/2016/04/17110514/Capture53.jpg).
2] Please login to your account and revoke the license.
3] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.your-domain.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
4] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again.And please review the changes that we made on how you are going to validated your X theme because we made a big change in the process. Please check it out here: https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/
