gtomiParticipantHi. I am using the Ethos stack (WordPress 4.5.2) and I got a problem with the Envira plugin: After I created and saved a photo Envira gallery an “502 Bad Gateway” error returns (see: http://www.changinglandscapes.de/das-archiv/tierra-del-fuego/). Please, could you help me to fix it? Thank you in advance!

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
The 502 status code, or Bad Gateway error, means that the server is a gateway or proxy server, and it is not receiving a valid response from the backend servers that should actually fulfill the request.
If the server in question is a reverse proxy server, such as a load balancer, here are a few things to check:
The backend servers (where the HTTP requests are being forwarded to) are healthy The reverse proxy is configured properly, with the proper backends specified The network connection between the backend servers and reverse proxy server is healthy. If the servers can communicate on other ports, make sure that the firewall is allowing the traffic between them If your web application is configured to listen on a socket, ensure that the socket exists in the correct location and that it has the proper permissions 503 Service Unavailable The 503 status code, or Service Unavailable error, means that the server is overloaded or under maintenance. This error implies that the service should become available at some point.
If the server is not under maintenance, this can indicate that the server does not have enough CPU or memory resources to handle all of the incoming requests, or that the web server needs to be configured to allow more users, threads, or processes.
Hope it helps.

gtomiParticipantHi,
Thank you for your fast response and help. Alternatively, could it also be related to a wordpress problem? Like https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/from-last-theme-update-all-images-added-to-envira-galleries-have-empty-url/June 14, 2016 at 1:27 pm #1041864
gtomiParticipantHi, I discussed your solution with my webhoster: The server configuration and all services are in best order. Probably it could be related to a plugin or wordpress problem.
Thank you for your help.June 14, 2016 at 5:30 pm #1042245
FriechModeratorShould you require any further assistance with X|THEME and Cornerstone, please feel free to get in touch with us.Bye the way have you already done a test for plugin conflict? It could be the Envira Gallery is conflicting with other plugins.
Thanks.

gtomiParticipantHi, thank you.
I have already done a test for plugin conflict. But the Envira plugin does not work. Maybe it is configuration problem with your X Theme or Cornerstone?June 15, 2016 at 8:38 am #1043218
ChristianModeratorHey there,
Envira works in X and Cornerstone in all of my test sites so there is no problem with compatibility. 500 error messages indicates that it is a server related issue. Please contact your web host or if you can, move your site to a new web host.
Thanks.
