    Hi,
    I’m having real problems with the Envira Gallery.
    I create a gallery and put in captions for every picture. Time consuming, but looks great.
    Then, if I add any image to the gallery afterwards, ALL my metadata and captions disappear and I have to
    start all over again. With 12 galleries holding an average of 20 captioned pictures this is quite a problem.
    Please can you advise.

    Hey Sarah,

    Did you save the meta data for each of your images (see attachment)? If you didn’t, that would be the case. I tried replicating this on my test site and that will only happen if you won’t save the meta data.

    Hi Christian,
    I very carefully saved everything. Exactly where you’ve indicated. I watch it come up with the word ‘saved’ before moving on. You can’t imagine how careful I have been about this process after losing so many hours work!!
    It’s all fine…unless I import a new image after everything has been saved. Then it loses everything.
    I presume if I wasn’t saving effectively in the first place my lightbox wouldn’t have the captions that I originally put in and saved?

    Hi Sarah,

    Yes, it’s somehow not saving on your site. I watched the network logs and your site is replying a success message, but not saved. I do see some cache request from ombed ajax endpoint. Do you have any hosting built-in caching? I don’t see caching plugin, could be from your hosting.
