bshumParticipantHi
Images in Envira galleries are not aligning properly. They’re showing white space around images that shouldn’t be there. Any ideas how to fix?Sample: http://brianshumway.com/portrait-photography-nyc/
Thanks again!

RahulModeratorHi There,
Please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Let us know how it goes.

bshumParticipantI deactivated all plug-ins except envira, cornerstone and jetpack and the issue remains.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for the updates! Tp remove the spaces around the images, please edit your gallery and make sure that the gutter width and the margin below the images is set to zero.

And more importantly, the image should not have a width of less than the column width of your gallery. If that happens, you will see a big gap on the left and right side of the image.
Hope this helps.

bshumParticipantI’m sorry. That’s not the problem. It creates more of a mess. I switched the image size from default to large in Envira, but didn’t change anything.

bshumParticipantI also noticed on my 13 in ch laptop the images look fine, not extra white space.

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for updating. I have tried with different screen size but can’t see such issue. Kindly check from different browser/device.
Cheers!

bshumParticipantthe issue is real. please look at a large 27 inch screen or move one side of the window browser off screen and pull the other side out so it fill the computer screen and you will see white space between photos. it would be nice if the original person who worked on this would be the one who responds.

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing back. I have tried with 21″ iMac and see such issue. Regretfully can’t check on 27″ screen right now. However I am not sure what you meant by “it would be nice if the original person who worked on this would be the one who responds.”. In that case you should reach to Envira Gallery team for support.
Envira Gallery is bundled with X to add value for you but the feature and functionality are not controlled by Themeco. So we can’t actually help much if you have any issue with the existing features/functionality of those third party integrated plugins. If something caused by X, we’ll definitely look in to this.
Hope this makes sense.
June 2, 2016 at 1:50 pm #1022762
bshumParticipantSo now you’re saying X doesn’t provide help with plug-ins that are bundled with X theme? That makes no sense.
June 2, 2016 at 1:51 pm #1022766
bshumParticipantI cannot get support for problems with Envira from the Envira developer because I have not bought a license from Envira.

Rue NelModeratorHello Again,
Sorry for the confusion. Please do the following first.
1] Disable the Photon module from your Jetpack.
2] Edit your gallery and make sure that you are displaying the large or full image.
3] After making all your changes since you have installed a caching plugin WP Super Cache, please clear your plugin cache before testing your site. This can cause the changes to not take place on the front end. It will eventually show up when the cache regenerates, but it’s not ideal if you’re looking to see your changes immediately. Caching plugins are best to turn on only when you’ve finished building the site.If nothing else works, would you mind providing us the url of your site with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / passwordDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
Thank you.

bshumParticipantThat didn’t work either. 🙁 This is really weird. Something must be wrong with how Envira and X work together since the update. I’ve attached screen shots. The link to this page: http://brianshumway.com/fashion-photography-nyc/
