mcphotoParticipantI’m trying to style an Envira gallery display – I’ve seen a lot of posts showing how to adjust margins and gutters with screen shots of the interface. However, the version I downloaded with X doesn’t have those controls. Is there a way to change the thumbnail settings for more space between the thumbs? Thanks!

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing in! It could be done with custom CSS. Can you point us the page with exact URL and a screenshot of highlighting what you are trying to achieve?
Also do you have the license standalone version that you used earlier? You can still use that if that have the control you are referring.
Cheers!

mcphotoParticipantHome page of the link in the private message, there’s a gallery grid mid-page;
This is my first use of Envira, but threads on X-forum and many online tutorials show more option settings. They use “margin” to separate the rows of thumbnails, and “gutter” to separate (essentially) columns, or what is the left/right padding or margins between thumbs.
It’s a very cool plugin for grid-based image galleries, just wondering where the custom controls are or if you have to pay for that. Thanks for getting back!

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing back. As mentioned on Envira Gallery plugin page, the version of Envira Gallery included with the theme is an modified version of the plugin with the main settings screen removed. So it might not be the same as standalone version. You can review the documentation for existing options – http://enviragallery.com/docs/
Cheers!

mcphotoParticipantThanks – the “using envira in x-theme” shows the controls though…

About halfway down the page in the “options” screen grab are the gutter controls – has that been removed lately?

RadModeratorHi there,
Not sure if what you’re looking is the one that I usually use. But it’s under EG’s grid setting, the Paddings and Spacings ( Admin > Ess. Grid > { YOUR CURRENT EG } > Grid Settings )
Thanks!

eveallParticipantYou’ve pointed to Ess Grid, but the original poster was looking for Envira Gallery, same acronym though.
Wondering how to do this as well. Change the gutter between the images in the display.
Thanks,
Steve

eveallParticipantNever mind I found it. In config settings of the gallery, you need to change the “number of gallery columns” from automatic to a set number of rows. Then you will be given more options, one of them being column gutter width and space between rows.

Steve
