Jan SParticipantHello,
i have found an article dated back to 2014 concerning (partly) empty breadcrumbs. There was no solution, so im adding this again:
URL …/blog/test-01/
Breadcrumb: ^ > > Text-01
(Where ^ is the home icon; and > > is empty, but should be > blog > )August 29, 2016 at 7:23 am #1151613

Jan SParticipantWhat do i need to do to make it look like expected:
^ > Blog > Text-01
get_option( ‘page_for_posts’ ) points to blog, but doesnt help
Any ideas appreciated!

ChristianModeratorHey Jan,
This is because your Blog is actually a portfolio. You’ll need to setup a portfolio page and that will fill the blank in the breadcrumbs. I’ve created a page called Blog Test and chose the Portfolio Page Template. Now there’s no blank in your Breadcrumbs (see attachment). Please change the title of the Blog Test page.
Please see https://community.theme.co/kb/portfolios/ to learn how to set the portfolio correctly.
Hope that helps. 🙂
