    Hi there,

I am getting my head around your new Cornerstone front end builder, and am slowly catching on. I have two questions to ask:

1.) Trying to Map Embed within Cornerstone, have used this code <iframe src="https://www.google.com/maps/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d158857.72810824303!2d-0.2416800995782431!3d51.528771840425364!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x47d8a00baf21de75%3A0x52963a5addd52a99!2sLondon!5e0!3m2!1sen!2suk!4v1449765065746" width="1200" height="250" frameborder="0" style="border:0" allowfullscreen></iframe>. However, the 1200 x 250 dimensions are being ignored by Cornerstone, and instead the map is staying the same large size. Is there a way around this? It used to be in Visual Composer when the code had the dimensions set like this then it would work. Please see http://www.simplysignspreview.com/borisbuilder/contact-us/ to see what I mean

2.) I have had reports of some of my websites being slow, and that Visual Composer is taking too load to load (sometimes a whhole 1.5 seconds) on Pingdom tests. I wondered if after tests that Cornerstone works faster in terms of loading than this? This is the first website I have created using this front end builder, but I am curious to know if you have had any reports of tests, for loading times between VC and Cornerstone in general.

    Many thanks!

    Hi Jayd,

    Thanks for writing in!

#1: Embedded Maps element has its own dimensions. By default it expands 100% and has an aspect ratio of 16:9. This is to ensure map is responsive for all devices.

If you want to use your own dimensions, you could perhaps add your embed code in a Raw Content element instead. Though, you’ll need to use style attribute to change the size of iframe, as by default, the width and height attributes are ignored. So your iframe code would be:

    <iframe src="https://www.google.com/maps/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d158857.72810824303!2d-0.2416800995782431!3d51.528771840425364!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x47d8a00baf21de75%3A0x52963a5addd52a99!2sLondon!5e0!3m2!1sen!2suk!4v1449765065746" width="1200" height="250" frameborder="0" style="border:0; width: 1200px; height: 250px;" allowfullscreen></iframe>

#2: Pages created in Cornerstone should be faster, though it all depends on the content you use in pages. For examples, if there are a lot of images, it’ll cost additional time. Whereas if a page contains more text, it’ll certainly be faster. For more better results, you may refer to our knowledge base article on Performance.

    Thank you!
