mdmason23ParticipantHello,
I have a strange thing happening…the emails sent from my website (ex: order confirmation) have a return address that’s associated with my webhost. The return address is in the format [email protected]. I have all settings on the back end of my WordPress site to have the return address for my business, which is in the format [email protected].
I have contacted my web host, and their reply was…
“I have reviewed your case and it appears that your site is currently configured to send emails from user@localhost and thus the emails are sent from the specified email account. As much as we would like to assist you on this matter, such development requests are beyond our professional expertise as a hosting provider.
In this case I suggest you to either contact a professional WordPress developer who should be able to reconfigure your WordPress site to send emails from specific email addresses or install SMTP plugin”
I have not noticed this issue before…is there a setting within the X theme that I need to change?
I noticed the issue when I received the attached email from a customer.
Thanks,
