tcfa121ParticipantHi
I would like to create “posts” that are just links to external URL’s but look like what facebook does when you paste a url into a post. They take an email and a title and then post it.
Is there an element or something else in cornerstone that would do that? I tried iframes, but the dimensions of the iframe are too inconsistent.
I am thinking a 1 row, 1 column page with an image from the site and the title/summary. I can make them manually I guess.
Thanks!

FriechModeratorHi There,
Thanks for writing in! Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish. But it sounds what you’re try to do will require a custom template, wow about you setup a blog page that is something like this? http://demo.theme.co/ethos-1/
If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.
Cheers!

tcfa121ParticipantWe are create a section of our blog title stories that matter. These stories are just links from around the web. I can use “the grid” add on to show the “pages” that we create for each story, but I am looking for a way to create the pages. I thought I could just use “the grid” and embed a URL, but it doesnt have that option.
Here is an Example – http://www.cbsnews.com/news/single-dad-and-daughter-bond-over-braids/
I want to take a story image – http://cbsnews1.cbsistatic.com/hub/i/r/2016/05/13/093490b9-71f4-4269-86bf-c9a7c7564af0/resize/620x/3da467e4a16d957f9cc2e15bbcaad076/phil-morgese-2.jpg
and create a post with that story image, the title of the story and a link.
I CAN just manually create a page and then put in the image, story link and title, which seems like I may do that. I was hoping there was an element or feature of cornerstone that would take a URL and make it “shareable” or create a cool link without me having to manually create each page for each story.
If there isnt, any created design ideas would be appreciated. We expect to have 5 to 10 links a week to share for this section of our blog.

RadModeratorHi there,
Sounds like automation, how about installing this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/postie/ and post your stories by email? Then use Essential Grid or The Grid to display posted stories by category.
Thanks!
