John BParticipantA client’s site (pre-Cornerstone) needs updates. I have not been in there for a while. Today I discovered that Visual Composer will no longer open an editable page.
The Site—
http://shanorcollins.com/
X-theme 3.2.2
Visual Composer 4.3.5
The site is hosted with Godaddy Managed WordPress.Tell me my options. Is there any easy way to make this an editable site again? Why will it not work? Is that a result of conflict between my old X-theme/VC environment and a newer WordPress installed by Godaddy? Will I have to rebuild everything in Cornerstone?
In any case, what are the various ways I can reclaim my editing capacity?

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
thanks for writing in!
You’re using outdated version of x and plugins. Please update X and visual composer, disable x shortcodes and visit X addons page to install cornerstone automatically.
Hope that helps.

John BParticipantThat does help. I struggled a bit. The site was display odd; I added the new, non-stack-specific child theme, added my old css. Then everything looked great. Thanks. Looks like Visual Composer has gotten a bit fancier too.
I also disabled x shortcodes. What is that about? Should I delete the plug-in?

JoaoModeratorHi There,
You can delete X-Shortcode, Cornerstone has incorporated it´s function so you just need to make sure you have Cornerstone activate.
Thanks
Joao

John BParticipantThanks: This all worked out so well. I was so relieved that I did not have to rebuild from Visual Composer (which is working just fine) to Cornerstone.
