createdesignstudio_nzParticipantHey there, I hope you’re having a great day 🙂
Exactly as it says in the title: when I click “Edit With Cornerstone” for the Home Page, it redirects to login page and never lets me access cornerstone. All other pages work fine.
I’ve tested for plugin conflicts: deactivated all plugins except for Cornerstone, and no change.
If I change the home page to a different page under “Settings -> Reading -> Front Page’ I can edit what was previously the home page (i.e. mydomain/home), but whatever is then set to the home page will also redirect to login.
So I’ve used the above work around to edit the homepage for now, but this is far from ideal! Can you help?
Thanks for your time.

RupokMemberHi there,
I have checked and Cornerstone loading fine for the home page as well on my end – http://prntscr.com/cpzjox
Make sure you are using this link – https://bestersoutdoorliving.tk/?cornerstone=1
I mean as you have already set it as home/front page, the slug (home) is not available anymore.
Hope this makes sense.

createdesignstudio_nzParticipantHey 🙂 Thanks for the reply. It’s working for me fine now.
I think it’s a browser cache issue. Here’s what happens:
- I’m not logged into wordpress or my session has expired
- I try access the cornerstone editor for a page directly by adding “?cornerstone=1” to the end end of a url. i.e.
https://mydomain.com/?cornerstone=1 - It redirects me to the login page. I login.
- This redirects me to the original page. i.e.
https://mydomain.com/ - Then, no matter how I choose to access the cornerstone editor for that specific page, it always redirects me to the login page.
- Accessing cornerstone for all other pages on the site works as expected.
Today, I managed to fix the issue by clearing my cookies and cache for the previous hour. Then before trying to access cornerstone, I made sure I was logged in first. Otherwise the login redirect loops thwarts me again.
I’ve recreated the same issue on a couple of sites now too, using Chrome.
Hope that info helps you guys! 🙂
