Nico ColluParticipantHello there!
I’m trying to create my own skin but am facing the following 2 problems currently:
1. When the skin is saved, it cannot be found as an available skin for the Grid I am building…
2. Some of the elements in the custom skin aren’t moving where I want them to be in the skin box.How can we fix this?

Nico ColluParticipantProblem .1 has been fixed.
For others reading. This was because you can choose which type of Skin Style it should be and depending on whether you wish to show your grid as a Masonry or Justified Grid etc., you must build a custom skin designed for that type of Grid before it shows up.
Try building a Grid for each Skin Type and you’ll see what I mean.
Still, can’t move some elements in either Skin Type.

RadModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in.
Tried it on my installation and I’m not sure about moving the skin type. Would you mind providing a video recording? And please provide your login credentials in private reply just in case there is a JS error.
Thanks!

Nico ColluParticipantTry looking at this image and replicate what I am doing with the “Date” element. I am trying to sit it on the right side as you can see but when I let go of the left mouse button, it goes back to the left side and doesn’t stick.
Credentials in the next reply.

Nico ColluParticipantAlright, nevermind, I see that a “Float” option was available to align it to the right.
Still, I was able to freely move the “Author” element anywhere I liked, do you know if that is supposed to be an option for every element, or…?
If not then I’m good with my options so far!

Nico ColluParticipantOh, now I can’t seem to center the “number of comments” element.
I can only set it left & right. I’d love it to be right under the post title!

LelyModeratorHi There,
Position of every element is always a combination of the following: Position -> (Relative or Absolute). Then we can adjust using margins, either by using percentage or pixel values.
Display -> Block or Inline Block.
If it’s block, we can center the content by adding text-align:center; on Custom Tab.For number of comments, select the element, add text-align:center; on Custom Tab. To center the comment icon, on Icon Position set left to 44 and then use %. Adjust 44 accordingly.
Regarding the Author element, where do you want this to be place?

Nico ColluParticipantHey Lely!
Great, thanks for the information. That definitely helps!
With that, I don’t need further assistance, I will correct what is needed with your info!Again, thanks to all of you!
