I can get to edit posts in cornerstone going through the WP admin panel. Just wondering why the menu item is missing in the black bar at top in preview when it is there for other pages?

I’m developing on local server at the moment. Yes they are the standard ones that come with the demo.
It is easy to replicate. Whilst logged into WP if you go to the standard ‘Agency’ demo (the one I am working on) then you see the ‘Edit in Cornerstone’ at the top on all menu pages except ‘News’ and it does not come back up when you drill down into the posts.

Thanks for the updates! Please keep in mind that you can only edit post/page that is created with Cornerstone. That is the same case with “Edit in Cornerstone”. You will not see “Edit in Cornerstone” on posts/pages that is created outside of Cornerstone. On the other hand, pages using page templates such as the portfolio page or the blog index and category archive pages will not be able to display “Edit in Cornerstone” also.
Hope this explains it briefly.
OK, yes it is there if I create a new post. I assumed the existing demo posts were created in Cornerstone too though and and would have thought that ‘Edit in Cornerstone’ would show on them also? Where does it show if a page is using a template. Sorry if that is basic but I am still a bit new. Thanks

In Agency Demo content, “Edit in Cornerstone” will not show in “News” and “Case Studies”. And if in cases, it will display, you still cannot edit it in Cornerstone because the contents on these pages were dynamically generated by WordPress.
