cowrhlParticipantHi! is there any way to make the format of posts in the homepage look a little more like the one in the image? I’m using Ethos now with posts set to masonry, but it only shows the headline and is lacking in important meta such as the ones I arrowed in the pic (category, date and author).
I think the standard format is the closest to this, however it only allows for one column at a time. Is there a way I could fix this?
I’ve got the child theme installed already!
Thanks!

NicoModeratorHi There,
Thanks for writing in.
The blog page assigned under reading options is more of a placeholder. There isn’t a way to change it’s content. WordPress just uses the title and URL to generate the blog index. The options for “Blog” can be configured under Customizer. I’m afraid the customization options aren’t as in depth as what you can do with a page.
If you’re open to custom development, you can make changes to the index template in a child theme. Modifications like this are outside the scope of our support, as they go beyond the normal functionality of the theme.
Thank you for understanding!

cowrhlParticipantI understand! Is there any way I can make the recent posts (standard style) in 3 columns instead of 1 though?

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing back. It could be done with some CSS but won’t be usual I guess as it won’t look good or might not be responsive. I’d suggest you to use Masonry if you need multiple columns.
Cheers!
