ccwadsworthParticipantHello
I am unable to access the size options for this product https://www.watsoncaringscience.org/product/caritas-scrub-top-kathryn-wild-flower/
I have used the variable feature for other products in the store without issue, however I have not added a new variable product in several months.
I have attached a screen shot of what happens when I select the size option.
I will post a second post with login credentials.
Appreciate your help, thank you!May 20, 2016 at 4:24 pm #1002124

RadModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in.
Please check this https://docs.woothemes.com/document/variable-product/
Your product page has no product attributes where the variable option will be based on.
Cheers!

ccwadsworthParticipantThank you for responding Rad, however I do have an attribute: size.
Please see attached screen shots of attribute and variable.May 21, 2016 at 7:57 am #1002906
Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Attributes let you define extra product data, such as size or colour. You can use these attributes in the shop sidebar using the “layered nav” widgets. Please note: you cannot rename an attribute later on. You must create first your product attribute by going to Products > Attributes. This is what is missing in your site.
Hope this helps.

ccwadsworthParticipantThanks Rue, however this product is showing up properly with my current settings.

I want to use the same set up for this new product.
I don’t want to use a widget.
Can you help me with this?
Many thanks!May 21, 2016 at 11:38 pm #1003540
RadModeratorHi there,
I checked the coding and those variation returns is_purchasable to false. Would you mind providing a screen recording of how you’re adding it?
I created a private product here https://www.watsoncaringscience.org/product/sample-product/ and it works.
Try adding price to your variation items.
Thanks!

ccwadsworthParticipantHi Rad
I’m not sure how to make and send a screen recording. I went in and created a new product from scratch and I get the same results.
https://www.watsoncaringscience.org/product/caritas-scrub-top-kathryn-wildflower/
I went through the tabs in order:
Selected variable product
Entered SKU
Entered weight
Selected size for attributes (I updated the size attribute you had already created)
Selected Variations, Add
Rearranged the order of the sizes
Saved changes, then updated pageIn addition, there is no place to enter the price??

RadModeratorHi there,
It’s the same setup with no price. Add variation price, please check the attached screenshot.
Thanks.

ccwadsworthParticipantThanks Rad
I added the price and now the dropdown is showing up!
That must have been the issue??However, the sizes are not displaying in the order I have set them. Any ideas?
I appreciate your help, thank you!

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
You should rearrange attributes under Products -> Attributes, see the attachment.
Hope it helps.
