    Hello, i like to use the functions download page templates since i am building at least 10 quite identical sites. However i have tried it but i am not successful with it. Can you explain how to download a page template from one site to another?

    Hey There,

    Thanks for writing in!

    You can simply save your work/page, go to Layout > Templates and click “Save”. It will then display another field to the template name and a choice to download or save to library. See attached!

    Hello, yes i have tried this. For what i understand now a library is only active in that site. I have tried the download options and then i get to see the code in my browser. But from there on i do not know what to do. I have tried copying the code to a text file and tried uploading this in the other website but this does not work.

    So to make the question more concreet, after i press download i get to see the code in my browser window what are the next steps?

    Hi There,

    Sorry for the confusion.

    You should not save to library but download it.

    Click Template > Save > RENAME YOUR TEMPLATE AT THE VERY TOP > Download > Save as a Block or Page – Blocks can be mixed, while page will overwrite ahh the existing content on the destination page when placed.

    You should not see code, it should download, would you mind trying with a different browser? I believe it might be related to your browser settings.

    Yes that is the problem! Safari on my mac did not download the file, but openned it. When i use Google chrome it will download a .csi file which uploads perfect on the other website.
