winstonong111ParticipantHi
I just tried upgading my WP version, then the screen timed out with the error:
[MYDOMAIN] is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500The published site is fine, but I can’t access any admin sections of WP.
I’ve googled and searched this forum for the same problem but the solutions I’ve tried haven’t worked for me:
– added define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’256’); to wpconfig
– renamed each plugin 1 by 1 and try reloading admin pages.Any suggestions?

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Upon checking your site, I noticed you’ve added pretty quotes instead of normal quotes in followin line inside wp-config.php file :
added define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’256’);I went ahead and fixed it.
Seems like admin files are corrupted, please backup your site and upload fresh wordpress file using FTP.
Hope it helps.
