edwinyzhParticipantI’m planning to construct my site with pages, and I’d like to setup the url like the following:
mysite.com/product1/
mysite.com/product1/features
mysite.com/product1/download
mysite.com/product2/
mysite.com/product2/features
mysite.com/product2/download
…..Can I to achieve that the the X theme and the supplied plugins? If not, I’ll be appreciated if you can provide any suggestions.

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in! In WordPress, you can head over to Settings -> Permalinks and select the option post name.
Then you can create pages and sub-pages (http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-display-a-list-of-child-pages-for-a-parent-page-in-wordpress/).
Hope that helps.

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing in! I am not entirely sure what you are trying to achieve. I mean where you want this URL structure? For products? Kindly clarify.
Meantime you can try setting your custom permalink structure from Settings > Permalinks.
You can follow this to get idea about syntax – https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks
Note that permalink structures are controlled by WordPress itself not by theme.
Hope this makes sense.

edwinyzhParticipantSorry for not making it clear, let me try again:
Assume my site’s domain is site.com, and we all know that each WP page has a one-level URL related to the root, for example, I can have:site.com/product1_overview site.com/product1_download site.com/product1_purchase site.com/product2_overview site.com/product2_download site.com/product2_purchaseAnd the above is NOT what I want.
The URL schema what I want is like the following:
site.com/product1/overview site.com/product1/download site.com/product1/purchase site.com/product2/overview site.com/product2/download site.com/product2/purchaseThe idea is that, all pages and posts related to product 1 should be shown under
site.com/product1/
How can I achieve that? Thanks.July 13, 2016 at 8:35 am #1084844
ChristianModeratorHey there,
To clarify, this is outside of a theme’s functionality. WordPress pages can have child or sub pages. See https://codex.wordpress.org/Pages for more details. If you’re new to WordPress, you might want to check out our WordPress Training course in our Knowledge Base
Thanks.

edwinyzhParticipantGreat, thanks for the link.
PS, this support forum doesn’t save my login session, so each time I need to login again, kinda annoying. Is there a setting for this or is it by intention?

DarshanaModeratorGlad we were able to help.
What’s the browser that you’re using? Alternatively, you may try using a password manager like LastPass (https://lastpass.com/) with a browser addon, so that it will handle authentication.
Thanks!
