Hello,

I’d prefer to use The Grid over Essential Grid, however it seems to be missing a key feature – the ‘advanced rules’ which Essential Grid has within its skinbuilder. This is very useful for highlighting individual products automatically with “On Sale!” graphics and such, simply by telling the skinbuilder that if [metadata] is higher than X, to Show the element.

I assume the same could be achieved in The Grid by using the “HTML/CSS”, and I can already script very well in other languages, but have never dived into JSS so don’t quite know where to target the skin element, and how to address it.

Any tips?

Thanks for writing in! Please keep in mind that HTML is used to display element on the page and the CSS code will be used to style the element. Only PHP or Javascript can manipulate an element along with custom meta contents. Regretfully, this particular customization request is outside the scope of our support as this is not related to an issue with the theme and instead has to do with your customization of it. As such, you will need to investigate this particular issue on your own or seek help from a developer should you not feel comfortable making these changes yourself.
