empirenanniesParticipantHi, I am currently updating an existing website to theme x. I have re-done all the pages using cornerstone. However there are two pages “Testimonials” and “Jobs” which are in a blog format and display custom post types. This allows the user to add a new job or testimonial easily without editing the actually page.
Is there a way to create a new page with cornerstone, and then get the custom post type posts to be displayed in the area of my choice on the page, maybe using a shortcode? the plugin is called Types, I tried to look but I couldn’t see this option.

empirenanniesParticipantor can I edit the custom post type page using cornerstone? I went into cornerstone seetings and the custom post types are available there….do I need to do something like this? > https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/using-cornerstone-to-create-custom-post-type-page-template/
Ideally I would like to create a new cornerstone page, add a single section to act has the page header and in the section below set it to display posts from particular post type like Testmimonials or Jobs

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in! Cornerstone is a page builder. This is very useful in building your posts and pages. Regretfully, archive pages such as your Jobs and Testimonial page cannot be edited in Cornerstone. This is because these pages were dynamically generated from WordPress taken from individual custom post type. Even the blog index, category, tags and default archive pages cannot and will not be edited in Cornerstone.
Hope this explains it briefly.

empirenanniesParticipantI understand. How can I create a page in cornerstone then output these dynamically generated pages? Thanks

empirenanniesParticipantI want to display the header section I used for all other pages. The header section includes the page title, an image and brief summary.
Is there a way to save that cornerstone section and display it using custom php? on those dynamically generated pages? or can a do a new setup, using theme x and cornerstone, so that every-time a new job is posted it appears on the page I have chosen?

RupokMemberHey there,
Thanks for writing back! It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities. Thanks for understanding. Take care!
