    Hi dear fantastic support!

This is the problem: I disable comments for all my pages, in fact on SQL on the wp_posts table I see all my pages with the comment_status : closed
Ok, I have 8 pages, on 2 the discussion is disable, but on 6 is still possible to comment.

On these six pages I have tried to enable and disable comments, and seeing the db the comment_status changed every time from open to closed and vice versa…. but no way, under these 6 pages the discussion is enable.

After some trials, I discover the issue, but no idea how to resolve it.
If I choose for a page the “standard template” (see here for example: http://linvitatospeciale.it/calendar/ or here: http://linvitatospeciale.it/statistiche/) there is the discussion (but of course they are disable).

If I choose for a page the “Blank – Container | Header – Footer” the discussion disappears: http://linvitatospeciale.it/pagina-delle-informazioni/

So it seems that the presence of the left sidebar “forces” the discussion.
And this is all I have understood… any idea?

    Thank you!!

    Augusto

    Hi there,

By default blank templates don’t display comment area.
In regards with comment area on pages with default template, before we continue please update x and plugins.

You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site.

If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.

    Hope it helps.

Thank for the help, but I don’t understand how to compare all my files with the new ones.
I download the X directory (the 4.4.2) and these files have all the same date… so it is difficult for me to campare what files you have changed… there is a list of the changed files?
    Thank you!!

    Augusto

Ps sorry for the question… but are you sure that the update will resolve my issue?? The site is “perfect” in this moment and very used…

    Hi there,

    You should have following versions:

    X v4.4.2
    CS v1.2.4
Please check this link : http://theme.co/changelog/

When there’s an issue the first step is to make sure theme and plugins are updated in order to prevent from incompatibilities issues.

    Hope it helps.
