Jay BParticipantHi!
So I’d like to implement “The Grid” with Woocommerce but I’m just trying to figure out the best way to go about this. I’ve read the knowledge base here https://community.theme.co/kb/integrated-plugins-the-grid/ but it doesn’t mention how to assign said grid pages to the woocommerce categories or main shop.
After assigning products to The Grid, should I then make custom pages to publish? If so should I disable shop in Woocommerce?
Also how do I set “The Grid” up for categories as well as products and do you reccomend the Grid over essential grid over all? (I prefer the skins for “The Grid” because they have a better woocommerce version personally)
Hope you understand the above?

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in!
To replace the default WooCommerce grid with theGrid plugin, please check out this: http://theme-one.com/docs/the-grid/#!/grid_as_template
As this is all custom development, regretfully we won’t be able to assist further. Custom development is outside the scope of our support. We’re happy to provide advice and get you started in the right direction, but you would still be responsible for the implementation.
Hope this helps.

Jay BParticipantAlso you missed out a portion of my question involving the knowledge base way of implementing products into the shop –
it doesn’t mention how to assign said grid pages to the woocommerce categories or main shop.
After assigning products to The Grid, should I then make custom pages to publish? If so should I disable shop in Woocommerce?

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for the updates! If the file is not in the child theme, you’ll need to create the file. We would like to suggest that you review how we recommend making template changes in Customization Best Practices.
And to accomplish the replace of TheGrid in the WooCommerce archive pages, please check this topic: https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/using-the-grid-as-woocommerce-products-archive-template/

NicoModeratorHi There,
You do not need to copy everything in your child theme. All you need to copy is the part that you want to customize and it should have same path and filename just like in your Parents theme. Yes, you are right of what link provided.
Hope it helps.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
