For weeks I’ve received the following error despite trying to unassigns and reassign the site and making the dev URL the primary URL etc.

GO BACKI have 3 or so other X Theme licensed sites on this same server… so I don’t believe it’s an overall communications problem. I disabled firewall etc. to test… somethings just not linked.

This is most likely caused by WordPress 4.6 which requires a cURL php extension. Can you get in touch with your hosting provider and ask if cURL is active and installed on your web host? Thanks!

Enabling the PHP cURL extension did the trick.
