awecesarParticipantHey, on my site
http://www.the-hole-story.golf
I have “The Grid” set up to show my posts right below the headline “Featured Posts”. The images are taken from the Featured Image from the post, but I want different images to be shown in this “Featured Post” section. How can I change the source from where The Grid picks the images?
ThanksNovember 21, 2016 at 2:15 pm #1265896
JoaoModeratorThanks for writing in! Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do ( perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.
Thanks
Joao

awecesarParticipantOk,
1. I just want to know how to say “The Grid” that it should first look for alternative images and then for the feature image. (this is possible in essential grid but not in the grid, at least i cant fint it). If you could tell me that that’d be awesome! If that does not work please go to 2. 🙂2. I would do the above with the essential grid but i cant fix the look of it. So if you can help me with that i can fix the problem from 1. myself. On my frontpage the-hole-story.golf I have added an essential grid which is only showing part of the text below on hover and the text is cut. Can you tell me how to make it stay all the time like the “the grid” above it does? I did everything as it says in essential grids tutorial for removing the hover.

LelyModeratorHi There,
1.) This option is available on THE GRID preview: The GRID > Preview Button > The GRID item format > Image Tab > Alternative Image. See this video screencast on how to access this option:http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cDX3hCQfWs
2.) Upon checking, you’re using a Masonry Skins. Please use Masonry too under Layout. See attached screenshot. When using Even on this Grid Layout, it will set fixed height which is not enough.
Hope this helps.
