indieParticipantHello
I have my main production site activated http://christianismos.gr/
and I created a new Development site http://test.christianismos.gr/
I activated the Development site at my theme.co account
but when I go to my Development site http://test.christianismos.gr/
and I try to validate Product, I enter my api key of the main production site and I get this error: This site URL is not a match for your API key.
What am I doing wrong?
Please help me because I want to test the theme updates before going public.
Thank you in advance,
JohnEDIT:
please remove the screenshot because it shows my licence code.November 16, 2016 at 9:12 am #1259424
RahulModeratorHey There,
Thanks for writing in!
We’ve changed the way to validate a site.
You don’t need to have an API Key to validate a particular website. You can validate your site using the Purchase code easily.
To do so, you have to update your current theme version. Go to Dashboard>> Updates and update your X-theme from there. After this, you can validate your site using the Purchase code.
Hope this helps, let us know how it goes!

indieParticipantThank you for your reply
I tried as you said but I get an error.Error: An error occurred while updating X: X is not validated. Validate X to enable automatic updates
I have version 4.3.0 installed and I need to Update to 4.6.4Look at the screenshots.
And please remove the screenshot from the first post because it shows my license code.

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
As we have revised our validation process recently, you need to have the latest version of X theme and Cornerstone plugin in-order to function our validation process correctly.
You can check the latest version numbers from here (https://community.theme.co/kb/version-compatibility/) and I advice you to update your X theme & Cornerstone plugin manually for once (https://community.theme.co/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins/) and then you should be able to validate your development environment.
Basically you can download the latest version from your Envato account.
Hope that helps.
