Hi guys,

I’m trying to upload the Ethos 1 demo theme to my site but for some reason all the content isn’t uploading.

I’ve tried to clear the cache in my web browser but still no joy.

Thanks for writing in! Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentials

Hi There,

Thanks, you need to configure three things in the customizer but your site seems out of memory. When accessing Appearance > Customize.

You need to resolve that first, you can try adding this in your wp-config.php located at the root directory of your site.

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );

You can add it before the line

/* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */

If that succeed and can now open the customizer, navigate to Ethos panel look for Post Carousel – Display and Post Slider for Blog – Display and set this to Random. By default it is set to display Featured, but you have not set any post to be a featured, so no post on carousel and slider will be shown.

Then also on Ethos panel, look for the Filterable Index if you keep that On change the values on Category IDs, those default values are just dummy values which does not really exist on your site. Else turn Filterable Index Off and all the post should show on your blog page.

Hi,

I’ve tried doing this to free up some memory but still no joy.

I was hoping for the full content to be uploaded but it doesn’t seem to work.

I don’t think it’s a memory issue anymore as I’ve looked on my cpanel and there seems to be enough free, but I maybe wrong.

Please note that standard demo contents only import home page content.

If you follow this part from our previous replay :

the home page content will be displayed correctly.

I tried to login to your WP dashboard, but provided credentials didn’t work. If you have issue opening customizer, please provide us with correct credentials.
