designerkenParticipantI have been unable to add the Agency demo content for the past 24 hours.
I have updated the wp-config and added an .user.ini file to my host (GoDaddy WP Hosting)
Config:
define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );.user.ini
file_uploads = On post_max_size = 2000M upload_max_filesize = 1000M memory_limit = 3000M max_execution_time = 300 max_input_vars = 5000But it still fails, seems to be at about the point of downloading images.
I have have been able to import other Standard Demos, just not the Expanded Demos.
Please let me know what I need to do.

RupokMemberHi there,
It seems you are using PHP 5.4. Could you please try updating your PHP version to at least v5.6 or above as it’s a requirement for WordPress – https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/
Hope this will solve the issue.
Cheers!

designerkenParticipantYup you are correct. The client is using the GoDaddy Basic Managed WordPress services. To my knowledge PHP versions cannot be altered.
Can you recommend another solution? (Changing hosts is not a solution)

designerkenParticipantI tried it a day or two later and it was able to import. Not sure what the exact issue was.

Paul RModeratorHi,
Maybe there was a temporary connection problem to our server.
Anyway glad to know it worked. Have a great day!

designerkenParticipantI am having this same issue yet again now with a different site/server with the same host.

designerkenParticipantSeems to be failing when it gets to the downloading images portion.
I also repeated all the same steps above with the config and ini files with no success.
I installed the same transient cleaner and seem to get the same error in the console.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Could you please clear the external object cache in your GoDaddy Hosting?
Please let us know how it goes.
January 9, 2017 at 12:42 pm #1322735
designerkenParticipantI cleared it and it still did not work. I moved the object-cache.php file out of its default location and activated the transient cleaner. Then I went to install the Agency demo content. It seemed to work once I did that.
I will disable the transient cleaner and place the object-cache.php file back in it’s original location.
Any thoughts as to what is happening with their caching?
