Frank DParticipantHi There ! I’ve been working on a website for my dad, which is http://www.bodylanguagehk.com. And recently visual composer is really frustrating me a little bit.
Firstly every time I update the page visual composer says
“Your page layout was created with previous Visual Composer version. Before converting your layout to the new version, make sure to read this page.”
So I click ‘Convert to new version,’ nothing happens. This happens everytime I update.
Next sometimes when I update stuff, Visual Composer just makes a ton more rows and duplicates my content, in some random order. I have to start again making the changes I wanted and delete all the duplicate and useless content.
I tried starting from scratch, making a second homepage. This was the result.
And to add to that on my real homepage you can the shortcodes [/vc_column] all over the place, I guess thats from all the blank columns sitting in my visual composer editor.
Again to summarise:
1. I want to get rid of the update visual composer prompt
2. Stop visual composer messing up my page by itself.
3. Delete all the useless [/vc_column] messing up my homepage. Please help me out, lot’s of people are waiting for the site to get ready. Thanks in advance 🙂

Frank DParticipantOh no wonder that’s happening. To update the theme, do I have to re-download the packages from themeforest then install it again ? There’s no option to update the theme from wordpress itself.
