AaronLentzParticipantHello,
The customizer seems to be really buggy. I’ve tried editing the css and every time I try it breaks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

JoaoModeratorHey there,
Thanks for writing in! Regretfully, this particular customization request is outside the scope of our support as this is not related to an issue with the theme and instead has to do with your customization of it. As such, you will need to investigate this particular issue on your own or seek help from a developer should you not feel comfortable making these changes yourself. If you have any further questions about the theme, we are more than happy to provide you with assistance on these inquiries.
Thank you for your understanding.

AaronLentzParticipantHello Joao,
I actually don’t understand. The customizer –> Custom should open up and not return an error/break when I open it up. This is very much a theme/cornerstone issue. I’d really appreciate it if you could look into it. Thanks!

JoaoModeratorHi There,
Sorry for the confusion,
I meant to reply that to another client.
You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Also make sure your hosting provider don“t have any special security restrictions.
Thanks

AaronLentzParticipantOh okay cool. Well It’s not a plugin issue. I tried all of that. And I don’t think it’s a security issue with my hosting provider. Any other ideas? Mind taking a look at it? I provided my login credentials?

RadModeratorHi there,
Would you mind providing a video recording of the issue you’re getting? I could try it, but I may end up contributing new error and that will make it worst since I’m not sure what’s the first one is.
But while I’m checking, I found some error in the customizer which usually due internal error, cache plugin, and rocket loader. Given that the page loads okay, then it’s not an internal error. What’s left to check is the cache plugins and rocket loader. Would you mind disable all those (CloudFlare, CloudFlare’s Rocket Loader, and WPFC plugin)? They should stay inactive until we see and fix all the issues.
Thanks!

AaronLentzParticipantHi Rad,
I have provided a video showing the issue. Video Link here: http://www.athenscolumbus.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/Video-Customizer-Custom-Not-Working.mov
I have also disabled Cloudflare, Rocket Loader and WPFC plugin.
Thank you for you help!

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for updating in! When I check your site, I can visit the customizer and even add a custom css. Please check my screenshot: http://prntscr.com/dycpqz
You may have been experiencing browse cache issue. Please clear your browser cache. You can use Chrome’s incognito mode and test your site again.
Hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes.
