    Hello,
I just migrated my site from my local drive using MAMP – to http://www.new.greenepsych.com

The globeal button styles set in customizer did not come over with the transfer. I saw a thread to customize with CSS, which I could do – but I would like to have cornerstone up and running 100% without workarounds.

I also just noticed I am missing the option to label a custom headline as an h1 but view it an an h2

I saw a few threads about reinstalling cornerstone, which makes me nervous, if this is the case please update me with the best way possible to do this and do I need to uninstall first?

    Please advise and thank you!

    Hi there,

Could you please try to install and run Transient Cleaner (https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/).

    1. Install Transient Cleaner
    2. Navigate Dashboard -> Tools -> Transients
    3. Clear Expired Transients Section
    4. Clean Now -> Check “Remove all expired transients”
    5. Remove All Transients Section
    6. Enable -> Check “Remove all transients when a database upgrade occurs”
    7. Optimize Afterwards -> Check “Optimize table(s) afterward the housekeeping”
    8. Clean Now -> Check “Remove all transients”
    9. Save Changes
    10. Recheck your site for functionality

Let us know how it goes.
    Thanks!

    Hi Simone,

Navigate to Customizer under the Cornerstone panel, there is an option for button colors. That is the settings that overwriting the Customizer > Buttons settings. It should not be there since you’re using X|Theme. Please provide us FTP credentials so we can take a closer look on your x theme folder.

In the meantime switch to parent x|theme and see if that resolve the issue. Dont forget to backup your customizer settings first before switching theme. That is under Addons > Customizer Manager > Export.

    Thanks.

    Hi Friech,
I see the cornerstone option at the bottom of the customizer – that is not there on my local drive in MAMP. Last Monday I took the site live from my local drive. I uploaded via FTP – I exported the database using WP migrate DB

My log in credentials were sent earlier in the thread, please see above. Someone from X theme was in there because i can see a new page was created.

I switched to the parent | X theme and no change. Please advise. Obviously something happened importing the database? should I just try again?
    Thank you,
    simone

    Hi there,

I don’t have that Customizer > Cornerstone option. It’s only applicable for standalone cornerstone (no X theme). Since it’s working on your local, you can export your customizer through Customizer manager and import it to your site. There is no need for database changes, Customizer manager is there for that purpose.

What should be the styling and would you mind providing the customizer settings that you exported from your local machine?

    Thanks!

    Hi Simone,

My log in credentials were sent earlier in the thread, please see above. Someone from X theme was in there because i can see a new page was created.

Please provide us FTP credentials as well so we can take a closer look. I see you have two instances of WordPress default themes each on your list. And its weird that we could not access your x|theme’s style.css file.

    http://new.greenepsych.com/wp-content/themes/x/style.css

Update: Upon further investigation, it looks like you duplicate the themes directory.

    http://new.greenepsych.com/wp-content/themes/themes/x/style.css

Please login to your server via FTP and move all your themes directly to this folder /wp-content/themes/. The second theme folder /wp-content/themes/themes/ should be emptied and be deleted.

    Thank you.

thank you for your investigating – not sure how that wpcontent/theme/theme thing happened but deleting the duplicate and reuploading did the trick!!

Thank you for the great support Friech!
