Hi, I am building a site with X and Renew. I am creating a BuddyPress community and want to customize BuddyPress a bit to get it more user friendly. Have read a lot at different sites such as BuddyPress.org but am confused how to do customize BuddyPress the best way..? Any experience, suggestions etc? Regards, Johanna

Thank you for the clarifications! What you are trying to accomplish requires a template customization, we would like to suggest that you use a child theme. This allows you to make code changes that won’t be overwritten when an X update is released. After your child theme is setup, please review how we recommend making template changes in Customization Best Practices.
