I have created a CPT with “post” functionality and enabled post format choices. However, when selecting the different formats the settings for that format that are displayed in the native post interface aren’t available in the CPT interface. So if I create a CPT quote-format, the settings unique to quote (the_quote, citation) are not offered. How can I make them available to the CPT?

Here are screen shots of the native post interface and the CPT interface. Can you tell me what part of the parent theme code I need to reference in my child theme so that my CPT can have the same functionality?

That is because, you will need to create your own templates for your custom post type or develop an integration to X. For a guide, the files you need to look at are the files that begin with content like content-video.php for the Video post format. They are located in the Stack’s folder like framework\views\integrity for Integrity. See https://community.theme.co/kb/customization-best-practices/ to learn how to customize X.
