Is there a way to select a “Post” from the upper carousel and have that post open a page with specific Category or Tag type of posts?

For example; if my upper carousel post was titled “Travels” could it open a page that had Category or Tag Archives of “Hungary, Italy, Mexico, etc”

Hey there,

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities. Thanks for understanding. Take care!

There really has to be a solution.

There has to be a way that selecting a carousel post can trigger a page with posts organized by category or tag..an archive.
Could selecting that carousel post open a custom link that links to an archive page?

If I needed custom development on this where would I find that? But truly hoping there’s a solution here.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing back. It’s called “post Carousel” so it supposed to show posts only. It seems you are trying to link category pages but it’s not the purpose of this feature and won’t be usual for this. You might look for third party plugins to achieve this. Or if you want to achieve through custom development with Child Theme then you need to amend the functionality form /framework/views/ethos/__post-carousel.php
