gatehousedesignParticipantHi there,
On this site http://37.60.248.90/~mojocoff/ I am using a custom font for headings and nav items. The problem is that when you load the site the copy shows up as helvetica or some other system font first before flashing as it reloads again with the css overriding it with the custom font info. My question is how can I stop it from showing the system font first? It looks unprofessional to have it flash reload like that.
Thanks,
Alice

RupokMemberHi Alice,
You can review our Performance article to increase overall performance of site so that the resources including custom CSS loads more faster. You won’t see any lag there.
Cheers!

gatehousedesignParticipantI use a caching plugin and the site is fast but I still see a flash of the nav in a different font before the webfont loads.
One problem might be that I can’t select “no font” for nav in the customizer so I just picked the google font I use for headings.
I don’t like the fact that the customizer font is loading first, then being overidden by my selection with !important. I would prefer to just declare the font once.
Any way to achieve this?
Thanks.
