knicholas22ParticipantHi there,
Anytime I try to go into my custom CSS/JS, those boxes seem to freeze and won’t let me edit them. Though I can back out of it and return to the rest of the customizer. Problem is still occurring even after updating everything (WordPress, X Theme, Cornerstone which I never use).

FriechModeratorHi There,
Thanks for writing in and for credentials, but I can open and edit your custom CSS on customizer without it freezing. Please clarify how we can replicate the issue.

knicholas22ParticipantI’m having a hard time making sense out of that. It doesn’t work on any of my browsers. It doesn’t actually seem to be freezing now with the update, but it has a ton of issues that is preventing me from getting any work one. I can start typing and all of a sudden it’ll jump me to another section of the code. If I press backspace it keeps bouncing me down further down the code. I have no idea how you could replicate the issue other than try adding some new code in a random spot in the file, and press back space a few times.

knicholas22ParticipantOkay, I figured it out. The plugin Wordfence Security was conflicting with the Customizer for some reason. Works fine now that that plugin is deactivated.

FriechModeratorGlad you sorted things out. You can contact Wordfence support on how you can prevent that conflict.
Thanks.
