    Hi

    I am using x theme with cornerstone and i have installed the custom css plugin and i have changed the font size of the footer txted and footer menu in the wordpress customiser (custom css section), would i need a child theme to stop losing any changes when i update the theme or is that only if i manually open the the theme files and change?

    Hi There,

    Thanks for writing in!

    Please use the Custom CSS code under Custom > CSS in the Customizer.

    And it is always advisable to use Child Theme for customization. Please refer https://community.theme.co/kb/how-to-setup-child-themes/
