thetravelvisaParticipantI have made a custom 404 page and used the built-in X plugin but it doesn’t seem to be working correctly. Instead of displaying the page it displays the name of the page – you then have to click to visit the page.
Is there a way to make it automatically direct to the 404 page?
Here’s in in action: http://www.thetravelvisacompany.ie/custom404

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
Thanks for writing in! Your issue is not clear. Your custom error page is showing when a visitor is checking a page that is not existed (http://www.thetravelvisacompany.ie/some-random-page).
You can customize the content of the page that you have created to show whatever you like.
Thanks!

thetravelvisaParticipantWhen I click that link you posted, the problem I am explaining still shows.
It presents the words ‘404 – Page not found’ but it doesn’t show the content of the page unless you click through. It should be going direct to the page I have set (http://www.thetravelvisacompany.ie/support/).

RupokMemberHi there,
So you are saying your custom 404 page is – http://www.thetravelvisacompany.ie/support/
Did you set that as custom 404 page from the settings as seen here? – http://prntscr.com/bamxc4
If you already done that but still not working then you can share your login credentials in a private reply.
Cheers!

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for updating. It seems something wrong with your page “Support”. I have created another test 404 page and assigned this as 404 page which is working fine. So you can try moving your page content to this page or a new page and try again
Cheers!

thetravelvisaParticipantThe ‘Test 404’ that you have made still isn’t working correctly. I copied the content over and it functions the same – only displays the title of the page which you then have to click to visit the 404 page.

ChristianModeratorSorry for the confusion. This is currently a known issue and would be resolved in the next update. Please stay tuned.
Thanks.
