    Hi I am working to fix google pagespeed score. I am working with criticalcss.com and he pointed out an error.
    How would I remove the style tag on this child theme?
    The first error is in this style sheet:
    https://theartefact.com/wp-content/themes/x-child-2/style.css?ver=4.6.4

    The <style> tags should just be removed, they don’t belong in .css files (only in .html files).

    Hello There,

    Yes, that part is wrong and is considered CSS syntax error. Login to wordpress admin. Click Appearance > Editor > Choose style.css file. Then remove <style> and </style>. See attached screenshot for guidance.
