[email protected]ParticipantHello community,
I purchased a license not too long ago, so far everything is going smooth with my website. So far I have ran into one problem that I can’t figure out.. I am trying to create user accounts. Accounts that will save the users information such as name, telephone number, address, order history, etc. I created a My account page, but when I try and log in I am unable to or when I change the password manually via wordpress password I am still unable to log in.
I am fairly new to all this but I am trying my best to learn. What needs to be done in order to get this to work? Do I need a plug in or simply tweak the settings somewhere?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

RupokMemberHi there,
Sorry to hear that you are facing trouble. Are you referring the WordPress user account? When you create any account, you will get an email for the password, you can click through their to reset it. What you are facin to login to your account? I mean which error you are getting?
Thanks!

[email protected]ParticipantHi Rupok,
I was referring to the wordpress account. I figured it out. I was getting some error at first, it was telling me password/email was incorrect. But it’s good now.
The only problem i see now is the customer will have to place an order first before he/she can create an account, or have the account manually created. I wish there was a way the customer could create the account at any time. But this will have to do for now. Is there any way I can add this message in the ‘my account’ page: ‘In order to create an account you must place an order first’
How can I add that message?Thank you for your time. 🙂

RadModeratorHi there,
Woocommerce doesn’t require purchases in order to create an account. It should be allowed in both directions (before or during the order).
Would you mind providing your login credentials in private reply?
For the meantime, please go to Admin > Woocoomerce > Settings > Accounts and make sure that Enable registration on the “My Account” is toggled on. Then check your My Account page (you can add that on your menu page) and it will allow registration for non-logged in user.
User information and billing are editable through my account page too once then signup or logged in. But it can be filled with the same information they will fill up during the order process.
Thanks!

[email protected]ParticipantHi Rad,
Thanks for your help! I did what you said, now non-logged in users can register. That’s exactly what I wanted.
Cheers!! 🙂
