tcb007ParticipantI’m trying to recreate the ‘Thriving Community’ on the home page here: http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/1/
I must be missing something simple because I can’t seem to do it.
I’ve tried adding a section, then adding a text element, then pasting in the content band code from the content band shortcode demo. It doesn’t go full screen, it stays the same size as the demo. The documentation I’ve read says the content band should grow based on the size of the content. I can’t seem to make that happen.
I then tried adding a section and just setting my image to the background image of the section. It goes the width of the screen but it’s very short, not full height. There must be something simple I’m missing.September 4, 2015 at 9:19 am #378922

tcb007ParticipantI tried again. I created a section, put a text element in it.
I then put this code in it, ‘[content_band bg_image=”http://www.asheboromartialarts.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/iStock_000045130192_Large.jpg”%5D%5B/content_band%5D’
The image doesn’t take up the whole screen. It’s the same width at the other content on the page and maybe 200px high.September 4, 2015 at 1:23 pm #379104
ZeshanMemberHi there,
Do you want to add a fullscreen section just like on the top of our demo? If so, we’re using a revolution slider in “Above Masthead Slider” for that section. You can use “Below Masthead Slider” in your page. To include, please watch our video walkthrough on sliders for detailed instructions.
After the slider is created, select Full Screen and add .masthead, #wpadminbar under Offset Containers field in your slider settings (see: http://prntscr.com/76m3fe).
Thanks!

tcb007ParticipantHi. No, I want to add a fullscreen image like the ‘Thriving Community’ section on the home page.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
You do not need the content band anymore. All you have to do is this, in your section add some top and bottom padding of 15%. Have one single column and insert all the content inside using the custom headline, text element and even the counter element. We have edited your page and copied the section in order to show you how it should be done. We did not use any content band shortcode in it.
Let us know if this has been helpful to you.
